영어표현 '손떼다' wash your hands of something/someone

오늘 배워볼 영어 표현은 한국어로는 많이들 들어보셨을 거예요.

'나 이제 거기에서 손 뗐어' 할 때 '손 떼다'

어떤 것을 벗어나 그만두거나 다 마치어 더이상 하지 않을 때, 

쓰는 표현인데요. 영어로는 어떻게 표현 할까요?

 

 

 

영어로도 똑같이 hand가 들어갑니다

손 떼다 =  wash your hands of

직역하면 손을 씻어낸다는 표현인데요.

우리 말로도 '손떼다' 외에 '손씼었다'를 사용하기도 하죠 ^^

너무나 비슷한 표현이에요~~
